How the game works
- A very wide grid. The 8×6 layout yields 200,704 different ways to win. Wins are counted by matching symbols on adjacent reels rather than along fixed lines.
- Cascades after every win. Symbols that take part in a win are cleared from the board and replaced, so a single spin can string several wins together.
- Wilds with built-in multipliers. Wild symbols carry values of up to 5×. The provider states that these values accumulate on individual tumbles, so a long cascade can lift the payout of its later steps.
- Scatter prize plus the Free Game. Four, five or six scatters pay 5×, 20× or 100× the total bet and open the Free Game with 12 to 22 free spins.
- Extending the round. Landing three or more scatters while the Free Game runs adds five more spins, and the game page describes the retrigger as having no limit.

Player reviews
I like the tumbling set up and how it changes the shape of the reels. The background is a little dark for my taste, but I can still follow the combinations without trouble.
Buffalo King Megaways is a much busier take on the original. The tumbling reels give it real energy without losing the animal theme.
Megaways-udgaven har mere fart på end den gamle version, og det klæder den faktisk. De faldende symboler gør skærmen levende, men temaet med dyrene er stadig tydeligt.
Buffalo King Megaways can get a bit hectic. Still I like the way the tumbling reels change the layout rather than just spin the same shapes again.
Lots happening on the reels here. The tumbling wins are a nice touch, although it takes a few moments to follow all the changing symbols. Good if you like a lively screen.
Les rouleaux en cascade donnent un vrai rythme au jeu. J'aime aussi les animaux, ça change des machines trop brillantes. Les multiplicateurs des wilds ajoutent du piment au bonus.
There's a lot to take in with six tumbling reels, so it isn't my first pick for a quiet game. Still, the layout is interesting and the bonus rules are explained quite clearly.
Buffalo King Megaways keeps the familiar wildlife art but adds a lot more motion. I especially like that the free-spin feature can be extended. A fun idea for this format.
